Weekly Letter: The Rebbe’s Response To A Non-Jews Request For A Blessing

In connection with Noach and his descendants – the nations of the world – we share a letter of the Rebbe to a non-Jew who is requesting a blessing from the Rebbe.

By the Grace of G-d

Blessing and Greeting:

This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter in which you request a prayer in behalf of your son.

As requested I will remember him in prayer in accordance with the contents of your letter.

I trust there is no need to emphasize to you at length that all blessings come from G-d, the Creator and Master of the universe, Who set forth a code of moral conduct for all mankind, known as the Seven Laws of Noah, with all their ramifications. Therefore, strengthening adherence to these moral laws in the everyday life and conduct widen the channels to receive the Creator’s blessings in all needs. Certainly, showing a living example by all concerned, especially by the mother, is bound to be helpful to the one who needs G-d’s blessing.

May you have good news to report in all above.

                                                                      With blessing,
