Kashrus Alert: Unauthorized OU Mark on Great Value Frozen Raspberries

The Orthodox Union (OU) is alerting consumers that Great Value Frozen Raspberries, sold by Walmart, are not certified kosher by the OU.

Some bags of the product were found bearing an unauthorized OU symbol. The OU has confirmed that it does not certify Great Value Frozen Raspberries and is working with the company to implement corrective measures.

The alert applies specifically to Great Value Frozen Raspberries. Consumers with questions regarding the kosher status of a product should consult their local Rav or contact the OU.
