Jewish Leaders Across New York Endorse Andrew Cuomo for NYC Mayor

Jewish leaders across New York have issued a united endorsement of Andrew Cuomo.

Representing communities from Crown Heights, Queens, Far Rockaway, the Bronx, Riverdale, Staten Island, parts of Manhattan, and the Sephardic community in Brooklyn, they are calling on all New Yorkers to unite behind Cuomo.

A united letter of endorsement can be found below:

We, the undersigned representatives of Jewish communities throughout New York City, have united in endorsing Andrew Cuomo for Mayor. After consulting with our local Rabbis, mosdos and askonim, we believe it is essential to speak with one voice at this critical time.

As we look ahead to November’s election, we are deeply concerned about the direction that mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani would take our city. We are troubled by his statements regarding the role of police in maintaining law and order, his past support for those calling to “globalize the intifada,” and his socialist policies that we believe would create chaos for all New Yorkers and put our Jewish communities at risk. We are equally concerned about his lack of administrative experience and his limited understanding of how government functions at the scale and complexity required to lead America’s largest city.

For these reasons, we encourage our communities across New York City to unite with us in endorsing Andrew Cuomo for Mayor. While we may have had differences with him during his tenure as Governor, we recognize that he is the most experienced and capable choice for our city at this pivotal moment. We need a leader who understands how to manage New York City’s many agencies and who can work effectively with federal, state, and local officials to ensure the wellbeing, safety, and security of all our communities.

The challenges facing New York City demand proven leadership, not ideological experimentation. Andrew Cuomo has the experience, knowledge, and track record to guide our city through these difficult times and restore the safety and prosperity that all New Yorkers deserve.

We also take this opportunity to thank Mayor Adams for his many years of friendship to our community, for his dedicated service to our city, and for making the difficult decision to put the wellbeing of New York City above personal political considerations.

  • Pathetic endorsement

Is this because they don’t think Sliwa can win due to the fear mongering of the liberal media and pols which are artificially boosting Mandani’s popularity in order to scare people to vote for Cuomo? This is what a self fulfilling nightmare is. Sliwa is doing much better than is being portrayed.
