Helping Every Soul Find Its Match – No Matter the Challenge

“It is as difficult to match a couple as it was to split the Red Sea.” (Sotah 2a)

This holds true for every match, and even more so for those navigating physical, emotional, or genetic challenges.

That’s why Kesher, a division of Bonei Olam, was created: to help individuals facing such obstacles find their soulmate with dignity, understanding, and hope.

Kesher works closely with geneticists, doctors, and shadchanim to match individuals from a global and diverse database. Each Kesher shadchan carefully considers all facets of a person—background, personality, values, and preferences—and when necessary, consults with Dor Yeshorim to ensure genetic compatibility.

By approaching shidduchim proactively, Kesher helps prevent feelings of shame, labels, or discouragement. Challenges can range from a mild physical limitation to more complex conditions such as bipolar disorder, heart defects, fertility concerns, or genetic markers. Each match is made with future health, emotional well-being, and compatibility in mind.

Privacy is central to everything we do.

Names are only disclosed after both parties have reviewed and approved a match based on a full profile, including religious outlook, personality, and medical compatibility. This sensitive process opens many more opportunities while preserving the privacy and dignity of all involved.

After years of careful development, Kesher officially launched this year and has already facilitated hundreds of dates. Like with a traditional shadchan, there is no fee for this service. A customary donation is made only once a shidduch is successful.

If you or someone you know could benefit from Kesher, please reach out.

We are proud to share the work of Kesher and ask our community to help spread the word.
The more individuals who register, the more lives we can change.
