23 year old Danielle works in Digital Marketing, specializing in Social Media Management. She is a former dancer and enjoys surfing as a hobby.

Danielle’s family traces their roots on one side to Eden in Yemen, as well as Germany, Lithuania and Poland on the other.

After completing her military service in the IDF she traveled to several countries, after which she attended the Nova Music Festival with a group of friends, including Chen Almog.

Early morning October 7, Danielle and her friends found themselves under rocket fire at the festival, and when the sirens and rocket impacts continued, they knew it was not a standard Gazan Rocket Attack.
Danielle and her friends tried to flee the festival together by car, when Hamas terrorists intercepted them, forcing them to leave their car and flee on foot. Surrounded by terrorists who we now know were especially focused on capturing female hostages, Danielle and her friends got separated in the chaos. Danielle hid in a tree, wrapped in a green scarf, then later hid in a river and a barn, while Hamas terrorists hunted her trail.

Heroically, Danielle’s father grabbed a firearm and sped towards the site of the massacre to evacuate his daughter.

Swerving between Hamas trucks and machine gun fire, Danielle’s father managed to save his daughter and 4 other friends who dove into the vehicle, and drove them home safely.

Danielle is focusing on recovery and telling her story on college campuses and community gatherings, to educate as well as to honor the memories of those lost.
