A Mezuman Was All They Had
For three Jewish soldiers stationed in the US Army’s Forward Operating Base ‘Sharana’ in Afghanistan, a Mezuman was all they had for this Yom Kippur and they spent it together complete with kosher food for the Seudah Hamfsekes and the Tefilos together.
Participating was Staff Sgt. Ryan Dean, Captain Eugene Gross, a dentistand Jewish Lay Leader, as well as Chaplain Rabbi Colonel Jacob Goldstein.
“Please say extra tefillos for the safety our troops” wrote Cpt. Gross.

Actually, I just spoke to my father and he said that he had over a minyan for both Kol Nidrei davening and Yom Kippur day davening. The picture you have posted is from the Seuda Hamafsekes where there were only three! Please correct the article. Thank You
