Salita Crushes Wayka in the Big Apple!
NEW YORK — Former world title challenger and crowd favorite Dmitry “Star of David” Salita brutalized game veteran James Wayka en route to a third round stoppage Thursday evening before a packed house at the Roseland Ballroom in New York, NY.
Led into the ring by reggae sensation Matisyahu’s hit single “King Without A Crown”, Salita overcame a minor cut above his left eye to score two knockdowns in the second round following vicious body shots. The Brooklyn, NY based Ukrainian sliced open Wayka’s eye moments into round three before finishing him off.
Shortly thereafter, Salita scored a third knockdown with a hulatious left hook to his counterpart’s body. Wayka, who came all the way from Shawano, WI on short notice, made it back to his feet before hitting the canvas for a fourth time, forcing Referee David Fields to halt the contest at 1:53.
Salita, 32-1-1 (17 KO’s), claimed the New York State Welterweight crown, making him a king with a crown for what it’s worth. Wayka, who has fought excellent opposition and defeated former champion Frank Toledo, falls to 16-10-1 with 8 wins by kayo.

Of couse, There is even a picture of him learning Tanya, so it’s mivtzoim to go watch boxing fights:)
There is this terminal illness amongst us, that if there is in any way some type of association to Lubavitch it becomes kosher.
1. If the hechshser given is by a Lubavitcher Rov, or if the mashgiach is a Lubavitcher it’s automatically kosher
2. If it’s a lubavitcher musicsion, or if there is a lubavitcher as part of the singing band it’s already as chassidish as those ear piercing nicho’ach tapes. The type of music, or the venue the concert is taking place, or who are the other people attending doesn’t matter. IT’S KOSHER
3. If it’s a shliach doing a function, it doesn’t matter if it’s for non religious people or whatever, it’s automatcially kosher for our kids and ourselves.
4. Chassidim ein mishpocho, and lubavitch is so all-welcoming so we don’t discriminate against gender, race or creed, there is no separation between men/women boys/girls “bachurim vegam besulos…” we “pra’ve” 15th of av all year round.
5. Last but not least, the definition of a lubavitcher?
a. Someone with a beard that keeps shulchan aruch?
b. Someone that learns tanya? someone who talks about inspiration by the Rebbe?
c. someone who has a picture of the Rebbe?
d. someone who goes to the ohel?
e. someone that has a lubvicher friend?
Excuse me for all the other types I left out.

Chossid, Working in a Jail.
I think Salita is such an inspiration. In an age of bochurim turning into kollel yungerleit and endlessly waiting for shlichus, we have some of our young lubavitchers getting out there and mevarrering all types of netzitzos…
Who said everyone’s Netzitzos are in Crown Heights or in various other getohs? Get out of the Gehto University and start living with the rest of the world and you will find Dem Aibishter everywhere…

Observer you obviosly are not Lubavitch.
not because you are smart enough to know that there is something called Shulchan Aruch, beard etc. but because you fail to appreciate what a holy sefer can mean to a person.
Have you ever seen a nazi hit a jew? does it not mean something to you when a Jew fights back? and not with weapons, but with things that are holy?
