The Brooklyn toddler hurt in a menorah-sparked blaze was on the mend yesterday, answering neighbors’ prayers for a holiday recovery.

A firefighter pulled 3-year-old Tzivia Friedman from her burning Borough Park home Wednesday night after the girl suffered serious burns to her hands and feet.

“She’s okay,” her mother, Chaya Sara Friedman, said yesterday afternoon. “She’s going to be fine.”

Residents at the tight-knit Orthodox Jewish enclave have been reciting prayers for the well-being of the girl and her family.

“It hits home hard,” said family friend Tzivia Fryer, who was clutching a prayer book outside the charred two-story brick house.

Tzivia and her four sisters – including a twin – were with an elderly baby-sitter while their parents attended a Chanukah party, relatives said.

An oil-fueled menorah toppled over and ignited a blaze at 9:37 p.m., said fire officials. There was no fire alarm in the apartment, they added.

Tzivia was at Staten Island University Hospital, where the baby-sitter was also hospitalized in serious but stable condition. Two of the other children, including the twin sister, sustained minor injuries.

Neighbors were unnerved by the sudden holiday fire and worried for the tot’s family.

“They’re very nice people, very lovely people,” said Magda Halpert, who lives upstairs from the Friedmans and managed to escape the burning building unscathed. “I feel very bad for them.”

Baruch Hashem! To everyone who does not have a working smoke detector (such as this family), PLEASE make sure yours are in working order or have one installed on each floor of your home immediately! A working smoke detector saved my life 6 years ago when a fire broke out in my apartment one night while I was asleep. If you can’t afford one, many fire stations can give you one free of charge…SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES – I’m living proof!
