Israel To Allow Tourists into Israel Starting November 1st

Israel has announced that it plans to allow tourists back into the country starting November 1st, an announcement long waited for.

The announcement came though with a caveat, as all tourists must either be vaccinated or have proof of having recovered from COVID-19.

An exception to the allowance would be anyone coming from a “Red” country, which have been designated by the government as having widespread outbreaks. Also, countries that have seen outbreaks of the new AY4.2 variant.

Israel recently found multiple cases of the AY4.2 variant of the COVID-19 virus inside the country, creating concern about another wave of restrictions. At present none have been announced.
