Nine Rockets Launched At Israel Overnight, Israel Responds

As Israeli warplanes struck targets in the Gaza strip for the 11th night in a row in response to continued incendiary balloon attacks, the Gazan factions escalated to rocket fire.

Nine rockets were fired at overnight, most of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome system. Shrapnel from one of the rockets made a direct impact on a house in Sderot, severely damaging it. Magen David Adom reported only minor injuries, and a few who were treated for shock.

The Gazan factions had been sending incendiary balloons into Israel, sparking over 100 fires, and caused a tremendous amount of damage to natural wildlife reserves and agriculture.

The Israeli retaliation targeted military infrastructure in the Gaza strip, including missile parts factories, underground military installations and military posts, according to the IDF.
