Teenaged Girls Stab 80-Year-Old Man with Scissors

Two Palestinian teenaged girls, aged 14 and 16, stabbed an elderly man with a pair of scissors in Jerusalem’s Machane Yehuda market this afternoon, thinking he was an Israeli. The 80-year-old victim was later revealed to be a Palestinian resident of Betlehem.

Security forces responded to the scene and shot both of the girls, killing one of them. The other girl is in police custody.

The elderly Palestinian victim was lightly wounded in the attack, and is expected to recover. A 27-year-old bystander was also lightly wounded by a piece of shrapnel that ricocheted from a bullet.

    The top video at approximately 11:22:30 appears to show one of the girls being shot while she was already lying down on the ground. I’m not sure why you want to disseminate that.

      WRONG! It does look good. He made sure she was DEAD. It is preferable to have dead terrorist than a wounded one.

      You don’t seem to get it Moishe. As much as you may hate these terrorists and want to see them dead and may be justified in your feelings, these videos get back to the enemies of the Jews and just make things worse for everyone, including the shooter who will now probably be prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

      This video is precisely the right message to muslim terrorists. If more terrorists would realize that they will be shot on the spot instead of receiving benefits and free education in Israeli jails and at the end release with another prisoner exchange, they would think twice.

    Collective punishment is the necessary deterrent that must be put in place when terrorist individuals commit acts meant as a collective terrorist action against the collective civilian population. Death or prison is not a deterrent to Jihad.

    When Russian airstrikes targeted ISIS, there was collateral damage to many civilians, (unintentional but condoned collective action.)

    When the US bombed Hiroshima, that was collective action.

    Israel should take raze the homes of the immediate family members and perhaps cousins of terrorists, as well as taking away government benefits.

    Also disputed neighborhoods and land should deeded to Israeli settlers for each attack as a possible punitive deterrent as well.
