‘Morning Joe’ Rips Rep. Yvette Clarke

Photos of three members of the U.S. House of Representatives, one of whom – Yvette Clarke – is the Representative of a New York City district that includes Crown Heights, holding their hands up in a “don’t shoot” gesture on the floor of Congress were widely disseminated through social media this morning.

The gestures were intended to bring attention to the shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, and the subsequent refusal of a grand jury to bring charges against the officer.

Political commentator Joe Scarborough, who hosts the ‘Morning Joe’ program on MSNBC, was unimpressed by the photos, to say the least. In a livid tone, he said they all know Michael Brown wasn’t shot with his hands up, saying “What is wrong with this country? What is wrong with these people? What’s wrong with these elected officials?”

REALLY? They are SOOO sure that his hands were up and they know ALL the details??? They seem very foolish. They don’t know, and they can’t be sure and they are fools. Were they paid for this, or what? They are low quality people to do this. Really.

“If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.”

The thug Michael Brown did NOT have his hands up when he was shot by Officer Wilson and therefore this act by Yvette Clarke and Co. is disgraceful and shameful.

Yvette Clarke and Co.are propagandists who are inciting hate and violence. These are dangerous people!!!

  • Yvette Clarke: An outrageously poor rep. of CH

How on earth is it that this obvious open sympathizer with the likes of “The Rev.” Al Sharpton is OUR (Crown Heights’!!!!) rep. in the US House of Representatives?????

All of the Yidden who’ve EVER voted for her are mamash traitors to all of those Yidden who lived through the pogrom that the media refers to as the “Crown Heights Riots” (orchestrated by the same “leader” Sharpton of the Ferguson riots, and his rent-a-mobs in both Crown Heights and Ferguson) of the 1990s.

We’ve seen prior evidence of her bad attitude toward Israel as well.

WHAT A TRAVESTY; we are a bunch of dupes to have ever elected her!!!!!! This is equivalent to the Jews giving a Nazi the Nobel Peace Prize!

    For SHAME!!!!!!!

The majority of the voting district is not Jewish and they overwhelmingly vote Democrat. Even if every Jewish person voted against her in the next election she will likely still win by double digits. It’s a sad mathematical reality of Majority rules.

    • Dear Shimon Shak

Statistically, what you are saying is true.

But the sad fact in the frum community is that there are a lot of “our own” also voting Democrat — no matter who it is — out of the misplaced notion that somehow Republicans will end the welfare programs that many of “our own” rely on, whether it’s food stamps, head start, section 8, medicaid, WIC, etc., etc.

Yet, these programs didn’t end under Reagan, Bush I, or Bush II. Nor were they cut back considerably, unless you count dealing with fraud a “cutback,” which it’s not!I It also wasn’t a “cutback” when, under Reagan, truly able-bodied people were finally given the opportunity and the requirement to do some work in order to continue to receive welfare benefits. But if you’re eligible, you’re eligible no matter who’s in office!

Yidden, don’t sell your community and your country down the river by voting for today’s “progressive” Democrats, all based on a mistaken notion that Republicans will take away your public assistance programs! You’re smarter than that!!!

Not all Republicans are so great, and not all Democrats are so objectionable. But Ms. Clarke is ABSOLUTELY OBJECTIONABLE for way too many reasons!

Keep up the good work, crownheights.info, exposing her poisonous sympathies.

I’m not saying that people should vote for her! Not in the least. All i’m saying is that if you don’t it isn’t going to matter.

    • Shocked at Shak's attitude

How sad that you are so jaded to think that even one vote doesn’t matter. While much of the time it may later turn out that one vote might not have made a difference in some election or other, you never know which election it is that your ONE vote makes all the difference!

      For starters, remember that:
The 2000 U.S. Presidential election was decided by an extremely narrow margin. George W. Bush won the state of Florida by just 537 votes, making him the next
President of the United States. Close to 6 million voters went to the polls in Florida. It might not have been one vote, but certainly every vote counted! And there are certainly more than 537 eligible adult voters who are Yidden in Crown Heights.

Plus, in recent years, the outcomes of many state and congressional races have been reversed as recounts have shifted a handful of votes from one candidate to another.

See the following examples, which include both historic and very recent (since the year 2000!) cases of one or very few votes making all of the difference. And remember that just like each Yid is a diamond to the Rebbe, and each neshamah is just as unique and precious to Hashem, you must never think (or promulgate the idea) that anyone’s votes are ever wasted!:

So cheer up, Reb Shimon, and anyone else so worn down as to have lost sight of the real truth! Your vote and your influence count, so USE THEM!

what a sad way to get in the news, and sadder that they besmirk Michael Brown’s name in such a senseless way. They knowt that they are just getting media coverage and that it is not true.
As said in comment #2, could not have said it better. AND as well, this is a very negative and devisive move for the black community. Some of the blacks wanted a better, wholesome life, and this is not a move towards that. Sad for all.
