Boruch Dayan Ha’emes: Mrs. Ettel Altein OBM

With sadness we inform you of the passing of veteran Shlucha Rebbetzin Ettel Altein OBM, of Pittsburgh, PA. Rebbetzin Altein and her husband were one of the first Shluchim in the United States.

She is survived by her children: R’ Mendel Altein (Montreal, Canada), R’ Yossi Altein (Crown Heights), Mrs. Chana Stein (Detroit, MI), Mrs. Tzirel Backman (Pittsburgh, PA), Mrs. Perel Namdar (Crown Heights) and Mrs. Malya Teitlebaum (Montreal, Canada).

She is survived as well by her brothers: R’ Menashe Edelman (New Jersey) and R’ Dovid Edelman (Springfield, MA).

The levaya and shiva will take place in Pittsburgh.
