When the Maccabees! Come Marching in…

by Shlomo Abraham

The Jewish Children’s Museum is proud to announce the debut of Maccabees, the Museum’s original live Chanukah adventure. Dazzling special-effects, elaborate sets and humorous dialogue unite to create the ultimate interactive Chanukah experience.

From its very first show, Maccabees created an unprecedented excitement in the Museum. Children, parents and educators say: Maccabees is “very moving”, “hilarious” and “so informative…I can’t think of a better way to experience Chanukah!”

    Attn: Mom:

It is most suitable for ages 7 and up – some scenes may be scary, though the experience is somewhat toned down for younger audiences.

Essentially, when a child comes out of Maccabbees, he should feel as if he experienced the story of Chanuka him or herself.

It may be a good idea to ask around – ask other parents. And if you don’t know anyone who went, then either drop by the museum after a show, or ask any museum staff member.

    Enjoy!
