New CD of the Rebbe’s 14 Niggunim – “Expressions of the Soul” A Resounding Success

After over three weeks since the release of its new CD “EXPRESSIONS of the SOUL” – the Rebbe’s 14 Niggunim, Infinity Productions is reporting that sales, namely in Crown Heights, “continue to be just remarkable”. The Kehos bookstore, Tzivos Hashem, Merkas Stam, Judaica World and Hamafitz, on Kingston Avenue, have all received additional shipments (some for the third time) after having sold out of their initial orders just a few days after the CD’s release.

Stores in Boro Park and Flatbush are also experiencing very “brisk” sales. The Gal-Paz music super store on 13th Avenue in Boro Park is describing sales of the CD as “mamash metzuyan”. Reports are now being received from Judaica stores in South Florida and Los Angeles, who are also “experiencing better sales than expected for a new vocalist” said a spokesperson for Infinity Productions. Stores in Europe have received the CD just after Rosh Hashono, with outlets in Israel expecting shipments for Succos.

The new CD, featuring Mayer Rivkin in his debut appearance on a full length CD album, continues to generate excitement and overwhelming positive reaction to the vocals and music arrangements. Many have commented in regards to the songs as “soul stirring” and “intense”. An overwhelming number of comments were also directed to the cover and photo of the Rebbe as “elegant”, “classy” and “graphically appealing”. Inquires as to the availability of bookings of live events, concerts and Farbrengens are also coming in.

An extensive Web Site is now being completed which will include a wealth of information about the Rebbe’s 14 Niggunim in particular and Chabad music and thought in general. Also, stories, history and significance of all facets of Nigginah will be presented. The site (www.InfinityRecordings.net) will allow for on-line credit card purchase and information regarding bookings and available openings for live concert and Farbrengen events. The producers invite and eagerly await continued comments and suggestions from those who have heard the CD.

Also, included with the CD is a 28 page detailed booklet explaining the profound content and history of each of the 14 Niggunim, along with translations and pronunciation. The booklet is based largely on explanations the Rebbe himself related when he taught and sang the melodies.
