  our car has been broken into and now i realize that it must have been this guy bc the metal part is bent… it is really terrible that this is happening to soo many people. unfortunatly we were away and didnt report it.

  -Firstly, instead of everyone running around like a chicken without ahead because of these crimes and complaining about someone not doing something (We look like whimps from an out-of-towners view), We should put our heads together and work TOGETHER (the entire Kan Tzivah and don’t let politics be included in this, or it won’t work) with all the Rabbonim. If we all run around like a chicken without a head, our enemies will eventually be able to seep through all cracks and crime will pour in. Try braking 1 pencil, then try braking a few together (a bit harder) and try braking a whole bunch all together (impossible). This is what the community needs. Also, the blacks don’t have a great history, so feeling persecuted, they feel the need to persecute a nation persecuted as themselves and be stronger than a nation.
  * i suggest everyone (including the 90 year old ladies and 2 year olds in CH to start learning self-defense/karate. There should be mens classes and womens classes. If nobody will do it, the city should bring someone in
  -When passing a black area by, DO NOT look them in the eye- look straight ahead and walk confidently and power walk. They are less likely to attack, unless you are distracted or vulnerable looking.
  -elect new police or start another police. These ones are obviously not helpful, so there is no point of complaining. Get rid of them.
  P.s. i dont know who to go to with this, so go to the Rabbis or city council (i haven’t been home in a while, so i don’t know who to contact)

You are getting harrassed by the cops becuase you forgot to move your car 1 minute after ASS (Altnerate Side of the Street) Parking takes effect.   well dont expect the community council to do anything about it. what we need to do is gather all these articles and write a strong letter to the governer, attorney general, police commissioner and all the media, with as many signatures as possible. the problem is not the writing of the letter or getting info, its getting people together to get it done. and thats hard when the community council will go the the rav put their slant on it and the rav will say you cant, then they come out and say ‘the rav said you cant’ and no one will do it.

  The leadership in our community has been very quiet recently (boruch Hashem no stupid statements). If you cannot help our neighberhood with a simple topic as crime. Nothing at alll! Then it is time you resigned and said all I did was to bring in more machlokes into the community then we ever had. But we cannot help the community become safer. In fact on our guard the shchuna has became more crime ridden then ever before.

  I have asked one of our elected officials for special government funding for Shomrim, so they can buy more equipment and pay for gasoline. This was a serious request and I am hopeful that this elected official will deliver. And if we are fortunate, it will be posted here.

  "African American" is certainly not the correct terms for the blacks in this community since most of them are from the Carribean Islands.

  That being said, my mother used to work in a school in downtown baltimore and began the schoolyear refering to "African Americans" but the students corrected her stating that neither they nor their parents had ever been to Africa (and, unlike the blacks in CH, that’s where they originated from).

  So if you want to call some white dude who emmigrated from South Africa "African American", be my guest, but the "African Americans" in this community are anything but!
