Kinnus Talmidim Hashlucim Underway in Chicago
On Friday Bochurim that are on Shlichus in various Yeshiva’s around the United States and Canada gathered in Chicago for the annual “Kinnus Talmidim Hashluchim” with over 60 Bochurim from Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Montreal, New Haven, Vancouver and Miami.
Friday the Bochurim went on a tour of the local Chabad Houses around Chicago and its suburbs and heard from the local Shluchim about their outreach and history about the Chabad houses as well as tips and suggestions from their experience as Shluchim.
That followed by a Farbrengen filled Shabbos with the Friday night meal ending late in the night, then a Shabbos day meal with R. Yosef Yitzchok Gurevitch, Head Mashpia in Migdal Haemek, that went on all afternoon right into Mincha. That was followed by a Melava Malkah where many Bochurim got up and spoke followed a speech from R. Boruch Hertz, the Mara Deasro of Chicago.
