Maccabi Looses 91-106 in Exhibition Game vs. NY Knicks
NEW YORK, NY [CHI] — Many Israelis, Lubavitchers attended an exhibition game between the Knicks and Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv at Madison Square Garden Sunday, played mainly to benefit Migdal Ohr, an Israeli orphanage.
In a game won by the Knicks, 106-91, Maccabi was called for four technical fouls by the NBA replacement referee crew.
Among those attending was Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman who heads Migdal Ohr, Former Israeli PM Ehud Olmert, Assemblyman Dov Hikind, oil tycoon and avid Chabad supporter Guma Aguiar, and the Friendship Circle of Crown Heights.
