FC of Manchester Holds Sukkos Party
MANCHESTER, UK [CHI] — Friendship circle of Manchester England held yet another successful event. This time it was a Sukkos party with over 100 people in attendance, hot dogs, chips and nosh was served and everyone celebrated Sukkos with live music and dancing into the night.
Friendship circle Manchester works with over 70 young adults and adults in the community with special needs and learning difficulty’s. It is Run by Esty Bruck along with a group of dedicated volunteers they help people integrate into the Jewish community and make friends, with weekly sessions, parties, activities, Shabbos meal placements within the community and more.
The Sukkos Party followed a successful Yom Tov fair that was held before Rosh Hashana. The Fair had crafts and activates around all the Yommim Tovim. The highlight of the evening was a Shofar factory run by Rabbi Shmully Brown and was enjoyed by all.
