Proficiency and Excellence in Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos

Months of preparations, serious and diligent study was put to their final test at the huge Sefer Hamitzvos Chidon in Los Angeles, California. Feelings of anxiety intermingled with joy on the one hand and seriousness on the other hand. To assure the good spirits of all participants and not only the winners, performer Lippe Shmeltzer, provided entertainment wearing a Chabad hat. “We have never had so many participants”, exclaimed Rabbi Sholom Ber Baumgarten, of the Tzivos Hashem administration, who served as one of the judges at the contest.

    I commend tzivos hashem and its staff, for following the motto "charity starts at home". In arranging all these programs that give our children such oppurtunities.
    I give you brochos to go strength to strength all in that you guys do. From Chayalei bais dovid to all the afterschool programs etc… Keep up the great work.

    A song that had some of the Mitzvos the boys learned about, which was sung during the round of the Chidon which was for Darga Beis, and the boys had to figure out what Mitzvos were in it.

    i heard he had a rap mentioning different mitzvos and the kids had to say which mitzva was mentioned. Something like that, im not completely sure. Please someone correct me if im wrong.

    Thank you so much for all your help in all that you did for our school. this year as you know was the the first time in 5 years our school participaited, we couldnt have done it with out you.
