Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was taken to a Jerusalem hospital Sunday after feeling ill while working in his office, two Israel television stations reported. One of the stations said he suffered a minor stroke and had lost consciousness.

Channel 2 TV said the roads around the hospital were closed before Sharon, 77, arrived in his official vehicle.

Channel 10 TV, quoting police officials it did not identify, said Sharon apparently lost consciousness. He was taken directly to the emergency room of the hospital, the media reports said. Officials in Sharon’s office were not available for comment.

Channel 10 reported that Sharon regained consciousness shortly after arriving at the hospital and quoted unnamed hospital sources as saying that he apparently suffered a minor stroke.

Hospital spokeswoman Yael Bossem-Levy said Sharon was undergoing tests. She would not give additional details. She told Israel TV that as far as she knew, Sharon was conscious.

Chaim and Sharon! you are both sick imature babies. How low of you to say such things. Grow up and talk normally.
He is a good person and has done alot of good. He is the best person to be PM as has stood like steal to the US and EU. Others would have given up everything

All this is nonsense. Of course the pullout is wrong and giving back any part of eretz yisroel (which we already have) is against the rebbe, torah, hashem and every Jew. But stop blaming things for happening because of someone’s actions. Unfortunately bad thing (or rather what seems bad to us) happens to very good people as well (the holocaust is one example). We don’t know hashems ways. You’re still right that what happens could be interesting.

wow! is this chabadniks talking?!?! chaim & sharon, the rebbe would never ever agree to giving reasons for tragedy and definitly not cursing jews to chv"s dieing
and lawyer, you too give me a break! sharon aint no great saint. what he has done is a great sin against hashem, the
rebbe, israel and the jewish people.

i would be very happy to hear tommorow that sharon has decided to leave politics because of what happened. bimhera viyamenu AMEN!

other guy and OT bochur. well said.

i think it’s embarassing for lubavitchers to talk like this, not just because it’s a chillul lubavitch etc., rather something quite sick to think inside as well.

i can’t fathom the hate that has gained it’s way as sounding "chassidish"

I have no "rachmonos" for him. What he did to those poor parents who lost there babies/ children H"Y. And those mothers and Fathers.

As we all know hashem doesn’t allow deeds (good or bad) to go unpunished or rewarded.

But who are we to decide, we can’t put reasoning or questioning to hashems doings. But as anyone will agree he’s wrong for what he did and we don’t wish bad on any Jew no matter what he’s done. Hashem has his way of dealing with ppl and their situations.

All we have to do is continue our acts of kindness and goodness and hope and pray for Moshiach speedily.

    TO OTHER GUY FROM CHAIM
you yourself addmit that he went against the rebbe.
I simply said…… you and lawyer and ot bochur filled the dots with what you wanted.
please note that sharon is on of the only knesset members that eats openly "CHAZER" and is proud of it.
when someone goes against the Rebbe and Torah he deserves no sympathy at all.

Wow, I love this. It’s like a farbrengen online!

I think everyone has their point in which they are correct, and a point which needs improvement. It’s like that with Sharon (the prime minister) and with all of us (writing on this site).

it’s a chiluk of gavra and cheftza, "bored no longer" implies that there has been a disruption in the cheftza of boredom, whereas "no longer bored" implies that just HE is no longer bored

  • Sceptic

Who says its true (that Sharon had a stroke) i don’t trust the israeli government one bit after the killing of Yitzchok Rabin Which is widely believd to be coverd-up,
becouse the officall story & the fact’s don’t match,
And if you ask what does Sharon have to gain by making-up a story, the anwser is simple, the "stroke" "conventily" took place the day before the primaris in Likud, and took away all the media attention subsuqustly there was a very low turnout (40%) at the polls,
