Fire Breaks Out In Montgomery Street Apartment in Crown Heights, No Injuries Reported

Just a day after a fire ripped through a Kingston Ave apartment, taking the lives of a mother and her son, another blaze spewed smoke into the air of Crown Heights.

Firefighters responded to 899 Montgomery Street on Wednesday morning for reports of a fire in an apartment on the building’s sixth floor.

Video from the fire showed firefighters battling the blaze as smoke billowed from the windows.

As of the publication of this article, no injuries or fatalities have been reported.
