Tishrei Guests Bid Farewell at Grand Banquet
Hundreds of guests who arrived for Tishrei gathered last night for a farewell banquet at Bais Rivkah-Campus Chomesh, organized by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Ha’olami.
Emcee Rabbi Shmuel Mishulovin called upon the director of the Vaad, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Altein, who read the Rebbe’s Kapital.
Merkos Vice-Chairman Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky addressed the gathering, followed by Shliach to Port Washington Rabbi Sholom Paltiel.
The generous donors who funded the activities of the Vaad on behalf of the guests were wholeheartedly thanked at the gathering: Reb Menachem Gurevitch, Reb Shlomo Hershkop, Reb Nachman Lokshin, Reb Sholom Lain, Reb Shneur Minsky, Reb Yossi Popack, Reb Eliyahu Shlosberg, Keren Meromim and the Iggud Hashluchim of Russia.
Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Walberg, Rosh Yeshiva in Manchester, addressed the gathering, after which the Chazzan Reb Tzvi Hirsh Tzatzkes sang the songs he would sing at the Rebbe’s farbrengens, with the Bochurim singing and dancing along to the lively Niggunim.
