Yud Tes Kislev at Rabbi Os – YNS Tzfas

YNS Hanhola, Shluchim and bochurim gathered for a gala seuda and farbrengen in honor of Yud Tes Kislev.

Beginning with a Yom Tov meal at 4 p.m. and concluding with Ma’ariv after 4 a.m., the farbrengen touched on the greatness of the Tanya and how to find oneself and achieve one’s potential via the Alter Rebbe’s fundamental work.

The Tanya’s first chapter was said over by Habochur Hatomim Yedidya Rittri and its last chapter by Habochur Hatomim Avi Horowitz.

The Ma’amer Podoh B’sholom 5747 was recited by Habochur Hatomim Yehuda Leib Feinstein, Habochur Hatomim Avrohom Meir Roetter and Habochur Hatomim Nachman Sahler.

The Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Orimland, shared many inspiring stories, imploring the bochurim to live the Tanya’s timeless, practical message and make the most of their talents.

New staff members Rabbi Zalman Nelson and Rabbi Moishe Witkes discussed the message of Chassidus and pushed the crowd to increase their learning of Pnimiyus Hatorah.

Other speakers included Rabbi Levi Wilchanski, Mashpia and Reb Avigdor Landesman. The Shluchim commented how they were never at such a long and intense farbrengen and were shocked to see the impact of it already at the next day’s davening.

Rabbi ‘O’ was very touched to see how the bochurim and the shluchim broke off into small groups to continue the farbrengen and internalize all they had heard.
