Oholei Torah Zal Farbrenges for Rosh Chodesh Kislev

For the first time since suffering a major heart attack five weeks earlier, on the eve of Shemini Atzeret in 1977, the Rebbe left his office in 770 Eastern Parkway and returned to his home, signaling his recovery. Chassidim all over rejoiced at the good news.

From that day on, the Rebbe redoubled his efforts on behalf of the Jewish nation and all of humanity, and for the dissemination of Torah and chassidism. From then on, the first of Kislev is celebrated as a day of thanksgiving and rejoicing.

    Be careful!!
If you are pouring/giving alcohol to minors, at least don’t get photographed!

Nice. I just hope that was water being served to minors…I’m beyond that excuse that one needs to consume alcohol to ‘open up’. Reading what the Rebbe and Freirdiker Rebbe said about drinking, specifically that especially Bochrim- who need to learn and avoid removing their yiras shomayim- should not drink.
This is a new ‘machle’ that is sanctioned by ‘mashpyim’ that may have a drinking problem of their own.

the hanhola is getting older, and more far removed from the bochurim.. something needs to be done about the lubavitch education system.. the elite should be teaching and bringing up the new generation, not the ones that couldn’t do anything else..

The question begs to be asked why the locals are not farbrenging and how the Aussies are the majority??
