Vaad Hashluchim Come together for Gimmel Tammuz Farbrengen

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — In the year 5748, at the sicha of Shabbos Mevorchim Nissan, The Rebbe spoke about establishing a Vaad to assist, under the auspices of Agudas Chassidei Chabad, on the s’forim court case. This committee later became involved with the establishment of The Shluchim Office.

This year, 20 years after the establishment of The Shluchim Office, the original Vaad came together and had a farbrengen looking back over the two decades of accomplishments.

The Vaad went through all the answers of the Rebbe that the chavrei ha’vaad got over the years, and spoke about how they still apply in today’s day.

After the hours sitting together the vaad committed to renew their involvement with current programs, and to have periodic meetings as was until gimmul tammuz.
