BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — Like every year, Yeshivas from across America and beyond prepare to travel to the Rebbe’s chatzer for Yud Shevat. The growing number of Lubavitcher Bochurim is estimated at close to 2,000 from 40 different Yeshivas.

For the fourth year now, the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim has announced the “Kinus Hatmimim Haolami”. The International Conference of Tmimim and Farbrengen

Building on the astounding success of previous years, the organizers are expecting a very large turn out. An evening with a packed program including speakers from various Yeshivas as well as a special video presentation is planned. A festive Dinner will be served amidst Niggunim and Farbrengen. Hanholos from all yeshivas are expected to be in attendance. A special emphasis this year will be on the Farbrengens that will follow the more formal part of the program.

“Yud Shevat represents the largest gathering of Lubavitcher Bochurim of the year”, says Yitzi Steiner, one of the event organizers, “It is only natural to unite everyone together under one roof for a Kinus and Farbrengen.”

He added that “This year we will be enhancing the program in several ways, based on feedback received from many yeshivas”.

The Kinus will be held on Thursday evening, Yud Shvat, at “Rosa Hall” Campus Chomesh – 470 Lefferts Ave. and begins at 7:00.

This event is sponsored by Kasriel Shemtov and family, in memory of his father R’ Menachem Mendel ben R’ ben-tzion.
