New Opportunity for Post Seminary Girls in Crown Heights
Bais Rivkah is expanding its educational offerings for young women in Crown Heights, announcing a new schedule of post-seminary classes designed to give graduates an opportunity to continue learning Torah, Chassidus and practical chinuch after completing seminary.
The new program, offered in Bais Rivkah’s new building, includes classes on Sunday mornings, Monday evenings and Wednesday evenings, with a lineup of experienced educators and Rabbonim teaching a range of subjects.
The schedule offers a variety of topics, including Parsha, Chassidus, Sichos, the Rebbe’s Maamarim, and elementary teaching, giving participants an opportunity to continue developing their learning while pursuing their interests and areas of growth.
A new addition to the program is the opportunity for young women who have completed seminary to continue their learning in a structured setting, with classes taught by respected members of the Crown Heights educational community.
The weekly schedule includes:
– Sunday Morning
Mrs. Borevitz – Parsha
Rabbi Dubov – Chassidus
– Monday Evening
Mrs. Shaikevitz – Sichos
Mrs. Gansbourg – Topics in Chassidus
– Wednesday Evening
Rabbi Y. Sputz – Elementary Teaching
Rabbi L. Kaplan – Frierdiker Rebbe’s Maamarim
Rabbi M. Lipskier – Chinuch and Chassidus
Both accredited and unaccredited classes are available. Prospective participants are also welcome to attend a class once on a trial basis before officially signing up.
The announcement comes as Bais Rivkah marks an important milestone with the opening of its new Seminary building at 461 East New York Avenue. The recently completed facility provides a dedicated home for the Seminary division and represents another step in the continued growth of the institution, which serves nearly 3,000 students across its various divisions.
For post-seminary girls who want to remain connected to the learning and inspiration of the seminary years while continuing to deepen their knowledge of Torah and Chassidus, the new classes offer an opportunity to do so right here in Crown Heights.
