Free Parenting Series: “Connection in Parenting” Begins This Wednesday
Tired of the power struggles, the homework battles, and the “why won’t they just listen” moments? Parents are invited to join Connection in Parenting: Because Every Behavior Tells a Story, a free six-week virtual series led by Chana Kaiman, LCSW-RPT, a Registered Play Therapist who specializes in working with children and families.
The series explores the why behind children’s toughest behaviors and gives parents practical tools they can use that same night, including decoding meltdowns and shutdowns, navigating screens and homework, setting limits that stick without the fight, supporting academic skills, and building a calmer, more connected home.
Sessions take place on six Wednesday evenings, October 21 through November 25, from 8:00 to 9:30 PM, on Microsoft Teams. The program is sponsored by Yeled V’Yalda and funded by ONPS Title 1 PECC, and is free of charge for parents.
To register, contact Flaufer@yeled.org or call 347-424-4691. The Teams link will be sent upon registration.
