by CrownHeights.info
Members of the Crown Heights Jewish community will host Republican New York State Attorney General nominee Saritha Komatireddy for a Sukkos Holiday Night Celebration Thursday evening.
The event, scheduled for 9:00–10:00 p.m. at 1318 Carroll Street, will bring community members together during the holiday of Sukkos and provide an opportunity to hear from Komatireddy, who is campaigning for New York State Attorney General.
Komatireddy is a former federal prosecutor who spent more than a decade with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. She also served as Chief of Staff of the Drug Enforcement Administration and is currently a partner at Holtzman Vogel. She graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School and previously clerked for then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
The New York State Board of Elections certified Komatireddy as the Republican candidate for Attorney General following the June 2026 primary.
Her campaign has focused on issues including public safety, prosecution of crime and fraud, government accountability, and the role of the Attorney General’s Office.
The Sukkos gathering is open to members of the community and members of the press.
