The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council (CHJCC) will host its Legislative Brunch on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Crown Heights, bringing together elected officials, community leaders, and stakeholders for a morning of connection and engagement.

The event will recognize The Honorable Kathy Hochul, Governor of New York; The Honorable Julie Menin, Speaker of the New York City Council; The Honorable Mark Levine, New York City Comptroller; and The Honorable Jessica S. Tisch, New York City Police Commissioner. Many local elected officials, community leaders, and partners are also anticipated to join.

Local leaders from the Crown Heights community will also be recognized for their ongoing contributions.
Acting Chairman Shmuly Rosenstein said, “This is about building connections that matter, bringing leadership and community together in a meaningful way to support and strengthen Crown Heights. The goal is to create a positive and constructive environment where people can come together around shared priorities and the future of our community.”

The brunch will also highlight CHJCC’s role as a central address for community services and its One Crown Heights initiative, focused on fostering unity and collaboration across the neighborhood.
