Lubavitcher Yeshiva Welcomes New Mechina Principal as Growth Continues Across All Divisions

With Lubavitcher Yeshiva continuing to expand across all its divisions, Rabbi Levi Bellinov has been appointed as the new Principal of the Mechina division.

Rabbi Bellinov brings with him nearly a decade of experience in chinuch, known for his dedication, warmth, and genuine care for each talmid. Under the leadership of Rabbi Yosef Simpson, Menahel Moised, this appointment reflects the Yeshiva’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership and ensuring each division grows with clarity, structure, and a strong chassidishe foundation.

This transition comes as Rabbi Mendel Scharf, who has been leading the Mechina division, takes on a new role as Menahel of the Yeshiva’s newly established Mesivta at the Ocean Parkway campus. The Mesivta is being built following the original approach of Tomchei Temimim, with a clear emphasis on strong chassidishkeit, refined Midos, Yiras shamayim, and learning b’shkida u’b’hasmada.

Lubavitcher Yeshiva is experiencing unprecedented growth across all of its divisions. More than ever before, families are turning to the Yeshiva for a strong, authentic, and uncompromised chassidishe chinuch. This is a  reflection of the trust and confidence placed in its dedicated Mechanchim and Mechanchos.

Building on this momentum, the Yeshiva continues to expand. For the coming year, an additional preschool class will be opening at the Crown Street campus, along with a new Pre-1A class to accommodate this growing demand.

Lubavitcher Yeshiva remains focused on one goal: to provide a strong, uncompromised chassidishe chinuch for every child.
