Empowering Girls Through Self-Defense: New Community Krav Maga Program Launches

After a successful launch of the boys’ program in December, TKM Brooklyn announces a new all-girls Krav Maga program in our community, giving girls and young women the skills, confidence, and awareness to protect themselves in today’s world.

Led exclusively by experienced female instructors – many of them local community members – the program creates a safe, supportive environment where participants can learn practical self-defense, build confidence, and develop resilience.

“This program is for the community, by the community,” says Bentzi Cousin, one of the founders “Our goal is to give girls the tools to feel strong, safe, and empowered in every aspect of their lives.”

Endorsed by several community members and leaders, such as Moshe Pinson of Beis Shmuel, Rabbi Mendy Hershkop of Shomrim, as well as Sholom Goldstein of Beis Rivka, the initiative responds to a real need among families seeking meaningful ways to prepare their daughters for the challenges of the world while fostering personal growth and self-assurance.

Enrollment is now open, with limited spots to ensure personalized attention. Families can learn more and sign up here: TKMbrooklyn.gymdesk.com
