New Discounted Option With $5 Kaparos Tonight at Beis Rivkah

NCFJE is pleased to announce that on Erev Yom Kippur, Kaparos will be available at the Beis Rivkah parking lot on Montgomery Street for just $5 per chicken, which will be shechted and kashered offsite.

As always, Shechita will also be available on-site by renowned shochtim, including Rabbis Posner, Krinsky, Swued, Raitport and others, for an additional fee. The organizing team is committed to providing a seamless, quick, and clean experience—just as they did this past Sunday.

Kaparos begins at 5:00 PM, with shechita beginning at 9:00 PM.

WIth wishes of a Gmar Chasima Tova L’Shana Tova U’Mesuka.

You may not put stumbling blocks in front of people. Rabbi Shimon Hecht you should be disappointed in yourself for this dishonesty!
You may it seem like $5 and if we don’t read the fine print we won’t realize you are charging over $20 for Schita!!! If I didn’t want Schita I would have done it on Sunday!

  • Disappointed

It’s sad how a rabbi is not up front and straightforward. Thank you rabbi Shea Hecht for always coming through for the local community! I definitely will be going to Eastern parkway tonight.

  • Disgusted

Go to eastern parkway to get rid of your sins!!!! If you went to bais rivka I think you need to redo your kaparos!

I just spoke to someone helping out at bais rivkah and was told that its $5 for the chicken and if you want shechita they are asking that you give a optional donation of any amount.
