Tishrei Accommodation Tent Gets An Upgrade With Modular Facilities

The incredible success last year of hundreds of bochurim being safely accommodated in a tent is set to return again this Tishrei, but with a twist.

As previously reported on CrownHeights.info, the city finalized plans to issued permits this week for the tent on the empty lot on the corner of Troy Ave and Carroll Street. The approved plans though, do not call for one big tent as was last year, but rather a series of modular temporary homes.

The new plan aims to provide additional comfort and privacy for those coming to the Rebbe for Tishrei.

The first of the modular homes has already arrived and is being tested for use. Should it be found suitable, the rest will soon follow in the coming weeks.
