BE CAREFUL! The Streets Are Slippery Out There
by CrownHeights.info
Not all people are created equal, and not all streets are plowed equally.
As the morning after the snowstorm saw Crown Heights wake up, many people shoveled out their cars and hit the road, only to discover that some Crown Heights streets had not been fully plowed by the city.
While major arteries such as Empire Blvd and Troy Ave have been cleared, others such as Lefferts Blvd are a dangerous slippery surface that is not safe to drive on.
Please be very cautions while driving and don’t forget to shovel and de-ice the sidewalks in front of your home. It’s the law.
If you don’t follow snow shoveling rules, you may receive a ticket from the Department of Sanitation (DSNY).
