Jewish Children’s Museum Awarded $4.5 Million From NYS Grant

Another major grant has been allocated to the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights with Governor Kathy Hochul announcing $4.5 Million to help transform the 5th floor of the Museum.
The news was shared by Hochul as she addressed a small crowd at the Jewish Children’s Museum Wednesday, noting that the future exhibit and 5th floor will be named after Ari Halberstam HY’D, who was killed in a terror attack in 1994.
This new grant comes just months after The Jewish Children’s Museum was awarded a portion of $213.8 million in grants, which were split among eighty non-profit institutions of culture and art across the five boroughs.
Many are looking forward to seeing updated exhibits at the Jewish Children’s Museum, but details on what the grant money will actually provide is not yet available.
