Gan Yisroel of Crown Heights Announces its Head Staff

Gan Yisroel of Crown Heights boy’s day camp is happy to announce that it will be opening for its tenth summer. Running out of Yeshiva Darchei Menachem’s premises, Gan Yisroel campers come from literally all of the neighborhood yeshivas and many other schools and preschools.

With a new Work & Play division, and a play group, the camp is now accepting 2 year old through 8th grade boys!

The Head Counselors for the older division are Rabbi Nosson Kuperman and Rabbi Reuvein Mizrachi. Head Counselor of the younger division is Morah Anat Ohana. Rabbi Yisroel Abramson will be the Special Events Coordinator, and Rabbi Dovid Kastel, the Program Director, Joining them are Staff Coordinator and Work & Play Director, Rabbi Yisroel Ohana, and Activities Director Rabbi Shneur Creeger.

The Work & Play program is for campers finishing sixth, seventh and eighth grade. They will spend part of the day helping in camp, each in a job that suits their abilities and interests, and part of the day they will have their own learning, trips, and activities. They will also have programs after camp.

Besides for learning, sports, crafts and trips, Gan Yisroel offers opportunities for special activities, such as bike and scooter trips, nature programming, occasional night activities, lots of individualized attention, and the highlight of the summer: father-son camping trips!

Breakfast and lunch are provided. Transportation is available from Crown Heights and East Flatbush. Accepting campers ages 2 – 14.
