Bais Rivkah Announces Three Significant Leadership Changes For Upcoming Year

Three significant changes to the Bais Rivkah School’s leadership have been announced for the 2022-2023 school year, which is beginning this week on Wednesday, September 7, יא’ אלול.

“I’m happy to announce that there will be three significant changes in our school leadership for the upcoming year.” said school Principal Mrs. Shana Tiechtel. “We are confident that these changes will enhance our mission of providing our students with the optimal חינוך ,based on תורה and חסידישע values and to assure that every single student has the support needed for academic success and growth.”

According to an email sent out regarding the changes, the school announced the establishment of a new Academic Support Department run by Morah F. Goldshmid. Goldshmid had been a most successful 9th grade principal for many years, and will take up a position as a school-wide assistant principal, tackling the crucial challenge of building and leading this important department.

Another major change will be the hiring of Mrs. Surie Marasow, an experienced and professional educator from Montreal, who will assume the role of the 9th Grade Principal. With over 30 years of experience in teaching and leadership roles in both high school and seminary settings, Mrs. Marasow is a certified life coach and a mentor to many. She will be joining the team under the guidance of Mrs. Heber, the vice principal of the school, and 9th grade Mechaneches Mrs. Rendler.

The third major change is the Coordinator of the General Studies Department, who has been named as Mrs. Miriam Heber. With experience in the field of Chinuch for over 20 years, Mrs. Heber has the skills and motivation to ensure the continued growth and progress of the schools General Studies Department.

“We are confident that the partnership of our dedicated administrative staff and devoted parents will ensure that our students will have much Hatzlacha in their endeavors this year,” Tiechtel wrote.
