A Crown Heights Hatzalah volunteer found himself in the right place at the right time Thursday evening.

The volunteer, a school bus driver, was on the return trip from Dorney Park in Allentown Pennsylvania, to Camp Emunah Pennsylvania with a bus full of campers.

Without warning, they came across an accident sprawled across the 209, involving a car and a mobile home trailer.

The Hatzalah volunteer pulled the bus over to the side, and safely off the road. Grabbing the fire extinguisher from the bus, he ran to see if he could help.

Just two cars behind, an off duty New York City Fire Department EMT also pulled over, and came over to assist as well.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries from the accident, and their assistance was not needed.

When the local Fire Department arrived on scene, and the Hatzalah volunteer identified himself, the local chief remarked that he was a former resident of New York City, and commented that “you guys [Hatzalah] are the best!”
