“One whose wisdom is more than his good deeds, to what is he comparable? To a tree with many branches but few roots, so that the wind comes, uproots it and throws it down.” (Pirkei Avos 3:17)

#2, how similar are you, with your comments, to that tree? Is it really “good deeds” to call others derogatory names?

to #1, what an ignorant, callous statement: bettter the tree should have fallen on the houses of goyim and little children? I use to live on that street and I knew the non jewish woman there who ran a day care center right by the tree.I remember her as friendly, hospitable and a helpful neighbor when I needed her on varous ocassions…your prejudice is so transparent and unwelcomed. If the tree had to fall, B”H it fell in the middle of the street and NO ONE was hurt!
