Darchei Students Get Up-Close View of Shchita
On Sunday, Darchei Menachem Mesivta – along with the two oldest elementary classes – learned and preformed a presentation about the Halachos of Kaporos and Shchita.
Rabbi Lew explained to the boys various Halachos, and spoke about how Shchita elevates the chickens from the level of ‘Chai’ up to ‘Medaber.’
The boys also crafted their own wooden Esrog boxes in preparation for the coming Yom Tov of Sukkos.
