A second Crown Heights building, located on the corner of Brooklyn Ave. and Sterling St., was hit by lightning this morning, causing bricks from the buildings roof. Fortunately, the building's lightning rods intercepted the strike and conducted it safely into the ground, preventing another devastating fire.

Lightning Damaged a Second Crown Heights Building

A second Crown Heights building, located on the corner of Brooklyn Ave. and Sterling St., was hit by lightning this morning, causing bricks from the buildings roof. Fortunately, the building’s lightning rods intercepted the strike and conducted it safely into the ground, preventing another devastating fire.

The fallen bricks damaged a couple of cars that were parked in the vicinity and BH did not strike any passing pedestrians.
