United Nations Staff and Family Visit JCM

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A group of 40 staffers and diplomats from the United Nations along with international business people took a Sunday afternoon off for a special tour of the only museum of its kind, the Jewish Children’s Museum.

The event was hosted by Mr. Amir Dossal of the UN Office for Partnerships along with Ms. Gloria Starr-Kins, Senior UN Correspondent.

Among the visitors was Dr. Palitha Kohona, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to the UN along with prominent supports of the museum.

One of the visitors mused “this is the first and only museum I have been to that encourages visitors to touch! The interactivity is just phenomenal!” The group got a guided tour through the interactive exhibits, and even competed in one of the game shows.
