What exactly is the point of this? I understand that crown heights is a very dear place to us all, but you guys already post pictures often, of different goings on in ch, which is wonderful for keeping us in the loop. looking at this blog, i basically saw repeating themes in the pictures – streets, streetsigns, trees, a couple buildings, etc. The exciting part about ch is not just the plants and stones, its the people in it that make it what it is, and i personally think that the crown heights residents would probably not appreciate their daily lives being put on display for the world to see. The other pictures, that are not of people, are kinda boring after a bit… I at least expected to see, for example, the friday post to have pictures of erev shabbos in ch – shopping the local supermarkets, etc, but nope, it was more trees and buildings… sorry if i come across as harsh, just trying to give constructive criticism…

  • no pictures please

this just looks llike a creative outlet for someone to show off their photography skills, its nothing special, sorry I’m sure you worked hard on it. Oh and do me a favor and please dont photograph me please will you?

    I love the idea.
i think it’s a good thing. no politics, no lashon hara, just pictures from our beautiful neighborhood.
    Keep it up.

  • Yasher Koach!

I absolutely disagree with all the negative feedback. This is a great project. Think in terms of documenting CH for the future. Imagine looking back at these pics in 5-10 years. It’s great! Plus, from these pics, our neighborhood looks like a beautiful, active, Frum community!! If only we would always see things through such a positive lens (no pun intended).
