Oholei Torah’s 54th Annual Dinner
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — The 54th annual Oholei Torah dinner took place last night at the Oholei Torah Ballroom. This year’s dinner was dedicated to the loving memory of Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, HY”D, an Oholei Torah alumnus. Forty of his former classmates united for this event in his memory.

Gabi’s father, yibodel lchaim Rabbi Nachman Holtzberg spole about his son, and his many accomplishments in his very short life.
A very special video production was shown, depicting Gabi as a Tomim in Oholei Torah, interspersed with interviews of friends, teachers and students.
As every year, two staff members were singled out as exemplary Chassidshe educators, and were presented with honor certificates. Rabbi Dovid Kahanov and Rabbi Chaim Leplifker, teachers from the Mesivta, were chosen by the staff for this well deserved commendation.
Rabbi Nosson Blumes expressed the feeling of loss that Oholei Torah experiences at the loss of this student. “As one student was lost, we will see to it that there are many more like him. Oholei Torah will continue to bring up and create more and more Shluchim who will go out and change the world.
