by CrownHeights.info
A hate crime investigation is underway in Crown Heights after a man threatened a bochur in Crown Heights while spewing vile hatred and a Shomrim volunteer intervened.
According to reports, the man had been lobbing large stones in front of driving vehicles when Shomrim recieved their first emergency call, triggering a quick response from volunteers around 11:55pm Sunday.
A Shomrim volunteer, armed with a description of the man, quickly found him on Eastern Parkway between Kingston Ave and Albany Ave and observed as he picked up a large stone and began to threateningly approach a lone bochur.
Aware of the acute danger, the volunteer stepped in, drawing the attacker’s attention away from the bochur and turning the threat on himself. The attacker grabbed two metal sticks, and with weapons in hand, began to approach the volunteer threateningly. He never made it, as an NYPD captain driving by witnessed the scene and jumped into action.
Within a short time, the attacker was in handcuffs and facing charges of menacing and criminal mischief. Once becoming aware of the hateful words he was using, the charges were upgraded to the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Unit, which is presently investigating the incident.

Fabulous
Now how long until he’s let out to reoffend?
And is he being housed in our neighborhood on our taxpayers dime?
Because we’ve had enough
