Two Bochurim Arrested In 770 After Violating Restraining Order
by CrownHeights.info
Two Bochurim are learning how the law works in the United States tonight after violating a restraining order and being arrested in 770 Thursday afternoon.
The two Bochurim were allegedly involved in an assault on a member of the 770 staff over Tishrei, with 770’s administration filing a police report and having a restraining order placed on them. They were not supposed to be in 770.
Thursday afternoon, the two Bochurim were identified in 770, with officers entering the building and placing them under arrest.
A major shift in authority has taken place in 770 since an unsanctioned, dangerous, and illegal attempt to expand 770 made international headlines. Police reports have been filed, restraining orders placed on recidivist individuals, and actions taken in the legal system to hold people accountable for their actions.
This has been hailed by Lubavitchers across the globe as a positive step towards in ensuring that 770 remains a safe and welcoming place for all.
