Shomrim Responds To A Hotline Call, A Recidivist Package Thief Discovers That There Are Consequences

A hotline call to Crown Heights Shomrim over a disorderly person ended with an arrest Thursday after the volunteers recognized the man as a recidivist packae thief.

“Shomrim responded to a call for a disorderly individual,” Crown Heights SHomrim wrote on social media. “Upon arrival, we identified the subject as a known repeat package thief with an outstanding warrant.”

Shomrim notified the police of the wanted man’s whereabouts, and after confirming that he was wanted for multiple thefts in the community, the police made the arrest.

Crown Heights Shomrim was able to provide video footage to the police showing recent thefts perpetrated by the package thief.

“Shomrim coordinated in real time with @NYPD71Pct, who responded swiftly and made the arrest,” Shomrim wrote.
