Jewish Man Assaulted, Perpetrator Arrested Tuesday With The Help of Shomrim

A repeat offender just couldn’t keep out of trouble Tuesday, assaulting a Jewish man and getting arrested again, all while wearing an ankle bracelet monitoring device.

Shomrim recieved a call for help at approximately 10:20am Tuesday morning and quickly responded to the area of Eastern Parkway and New York Ave. Their quick response meant that the perpetrator was still on scene, and the and the volunteers were able to immediately point him out to the responding officers from the 77th NYPD Precinct.

After an investigation, the police arrested the attacker, who will now have to explain to an unhappy judge why he assaulted a person while on probation for another crime.

The victim of the assault was treated on scene by Hatzalah.
